Traditional with a renewed air
The manager of Antaño contacted our studio to ask us about his need to separate the lounge and bar area with the design of a mobile element that allows him to structure the space according to his needs.
After collecting all the information about the place and its activity, we carried out a study where we detected that the need that was raised to us was perhaps not the most important.
Certain shortcomings such as good lighting, furniture adequate or a defined decorative style, made it perhaps not very_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136d_attractive.
In summary, the aesthetics did not correspond to the quality of the product that was offered.
The result of our study is exposed and we elaborate our proposal based on the correction of these deficiencies.
We enhance the lighting both in the room and in the bar and behind the bar, this is modified by placing new linear shelves, so the product is visually more orderly.
The large bar, added to its dark walnut wood finish, makes it an element with a great presence in the space. To visually lighten it, it is completely lacquered in white, the front is covered with a slatted board_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ y we remove weight from the upper element by painting it grey.
In order to achieve a visual cleanliness, all the decorative elements are removed and we propose as the only decoration the use of natural materials and textures that provide warmth.
The pillars are left bare and covered with burlap, like the baseboards, unifying the finishes. This same material forms screens that camouflage the ceiling panels.
Lattices in vertical slats of natural wood articulate the space.
The performance is completed by a selection of upholstered furniture that replaces the previous one more appropriate for the exterior.
The result, a space that already invites you to pass from the outside, a mixture between the traditional and the current that values the service and quality of the establishment's product.
